Sloan Canyon is the site of brand new, sculpted singletracks that are sure to delight. Starting from the McCullough trailhead outside of Henderson, moderate climbs, sweeping vistas, and some nice long downhills all await on this textbook cross-country trail. A few swift descents and climbs make the ride interesting for all. Trails of numbers so pick up the Trail 601 near the parking lot up and around the mountain. Then reach the Quo Vadis Trail 701 for a scenic, long descent in this lollipop ride. Obviously, winter is best. Even better is after a rain when the gravel & sand is nice and solid. This is a gem of a ride.

Riding a day after the torrential rains in Las Vegas made for an awesome ride with all the soft gravel washes in perfect trail condition. This is an unsung area with many unexplored singles awaiting.
