For some spectacular views of Silverwood Lake and the western San Bernadino mountains that is aerobic but non-technical, this is the ride to take. Almost all the climbing is in the 1st 3 miles. After that it is pure heaven. The ride is nearly all exposed so take water. Also beware of motorcyle riders who abound here. DIRECTIONS: From I-15 exit at route 138 to Silverwood Lake recreation Area. Continue past there and make a LEFT turn at the Miller Canyon Unit. A Forest Adventure Pass is needed.

first 3 miles is a climb, great once you are at the top. didnt have great veiws because of cloud cover (and some rain) but still a great ride. lots of motorcycles.

Dozens of motorcylists made riding a bit noisy but unlimited visibility made up for it.
