Garmin not uploading to GL for some reason. First ride in 8 weeks due to a broken hand from a OTB in Aliso Woods. Aweseome ride and perfect weather! Time to get back in shape though
Reposting this ride because my GPS added about 1000 ft elevation. Added Vista so the total mileage was about 28.8. Great ride with Ben, Dennis, Stevo, Jeff, and Tim.
Another Rwanda Ride in the books. Once again it was a success. I liked the placement of the start/finish line. Thanks to the volunteers around the course and the ones at the aid stations. I saw 2 riders down and both required heli evacuations. Heal up quickly. Too many other riders rushing past like its a race. Slow down dudes! Enjoyed the vendors but didn't stay for the raffle. Good thing because it looked like rain was coming down soon. Til next year!

Did the 25 mile Rwanda ride with Bill, Dennis, Stevo, Jeff & Tim. We planned to start a little after the 50 mile group around 7:05 or 7:10. Didn't get pedaling until 7:30. We ended up splitting into 2 groups with Steve, Jeff & Tim going faster than Bill, Dennis & me. Still fun. Perfect temps. Lots of people, but all spread out by the time we rode. A few of the 50 mile guys were obnoxious. We may leave at the back of the 25 mile group next year unless it is going to be hot.

Great event in overcast weather. Rain held off til raffle. Enjoyed not doing the full 50 (did 2 weeks ago) and helping out for the 7 am send off. Enjoyed stopping on the way many times for photos and videos of the riders and volunteers. Wasn't tired at all and was able to help rest of afternoon and with clean up afterwards. Got skunked with raffle. Bummer. Thanks to the volunteers and sponsors for helping make this the best attended and most funds raised ever!
