This is a shorter version of a route I first rode before I had a GPS unit. The longer version is more fun; this one isn't real exciting but it's a good place to build from as there are a lot of other trails that splinter off of this one. This variation has a steady climb which feels steeper than it is because your starting elevation is about 4200 feet. After wandering around the meadow for a couple of miles, you start to hit some fun up and down rocky single track and then finish off with a long, rocky fireroad home. I read that this area was the first NORBA trail of Red Rock.

04/30/06 Trailhead is on the left hand side of the highway. We actually started at the Mustard Trailhead. My next trip will have to take me over to Boulder City. Good chill ride with OCThrasher & LV Pepsi Dude.
