My longest MTB ride to date. Felt pretty good, except for the hot weather from Caspers back through Coto and the small hill at the end of the ride back up to the top of O'Neill Park. My legs were tired and that thing felt like Mt. Everest.
Rwanda ride, was supposed to do it last week but I completed it today with no social pressure.
I stuck to my nutrition plan, and felt great all day. No cramps. Thank you to all volunteers. Another great event. One of my favorite things on this ride...leaving Dove Cyn. aid station and having TWO volunteers stop traffic in BOTH directions just for me. Cracks me up every time!
Fun day for the 50. Rode with my friend and his wife helping her with the trickier downhill sections and encouragement for the last 7 miles. I will be back next year for my 5th.
First time ride, great time. I was amazed at all of the great riders out there, men and women. I met a lot of great people and made some new friends. Cant wait for next year. Did the 50 miles, tuff ride for an old guy, but it was fun!
Great day. Rode with SAmtn, Kato, Slopush, Dan, Tony, Brandon, Dave, Todd and many others. It is such a great event to see people that you have ridden with over the last couple of years.
Great turnout for great event. Felt good with no knee or low back issues thanks to the "K" tape. Cramped up a bit the last 5 miles but pedaled through most of it. Fun times afterwards as well in the dirt lot.
What a great ride! Thanks to all of the volunteers who kept us fueled up and in high spirits, and thanks to the guys I rode with: THanson, Fast Turtle, SAMtn, Kato, Ryan, Mike- It was a blast out there today!
Good spin today...thanks to all the volunteers. Always a fun event.
