A little damp from the rains but it was great to get out and ride Sunday.
Got down to Caspers looking to refill camelbacks as it was hotter than tarnation today, and all water was shut down at our normal spots which made us think we were going die in the heat! We found a restroom still with running water--saved the day! I gave my squirrel friends Chip & Dale a couple of shotblocks and they were happy.
Had the day off, why not?
Hit it up around 1 pm - hotter than I thought
Felt good today !
One snake & two deer & no work.
Felt the burn today
Well, I was able to succesfully upload the ride directions but forgot to succesfully start the timer, DOH! Great weather for this 25 miler. On the way back into O'Neill, some volunteer on a horse asks if we have happen so see his other horse riding volunteers vest, to let them know...hmmmm how did that dude on a horse lose a vest? Anyway, I found the vest and dropped it off at the ranger station. Great Ride!
Hit it up late around 11:00 - Hot & dry over on the Coto side!
Great ride. Only saw riders in the other direction. Started riding from Chisholm Trail (Liveoak entrance to O'Neil).
