Expect some decent climbing on this route. The first five miles are on a fairly flat dirt road, Trabuco Creek. The singletrack ascent up Holy Jim is breathtaking and challenging with hairpins and slightly technical sections. Upon making a right on the Main Divide fire road expect an undulating 7 mile fire road journey to Trabuco (majority of it being uphill). Trabuco's singletrack is one of the best around - Enjoy!

12/11/17 Day of the annual Warriors Society Christmas Tree ride, so left early and fought nasty headwind to the forest boundary. Once the canyon narrowed, there was more shelter and the wind wasn't an issue. Met the group at the tree on Trabuco and after some merriment, continued the good times back at Parker Ranch.
11/11/16 I haven't been here in 2 1/2 years. I forgot how awesome Holy Jim is. Today I was in one of my worst days regarding energy. Riding once a week is not enough for me for keeping a decent riding shape.
