Another urban loop near downtown San Diego. This (ugly) figure 8-loop follows most of the trail with-in Florida Canyon, with two short off-shoots close to Florida to break it up.

02/08/11 Lots of stops to check which trail to take at all the forks. Did the last 20 minutes in the dark without a light. Fun ride close to work though with a couple hike a bikes. The northwesternmost, tiny loop I could do without. Its very overgrown and I had to stop 3 times, backtrack and it seemed like a bums favorite toilet spot. This was my first geoladder ride!
02/08/11 The northwesternmost, tiny loop is terrible. Otherwise, it was a great way to get in ten miles with lots of dirt trails that is only 5 minutes from work.
06/13/09 Finally made it...the high light was having 20 ex-con/gang types in some sort of meeting near Golden Hills park freak out when I went down a steep section to hook up w/ a short one track section in a canyon...
