For such a short route this trail is off the charts. It is not for the weak or timid and may very well redefine your idea of steep and technical. The route starts with a gentle road climb to the trail head. Once you arrive at the trail head, get off the bike because it is all HAB from here. You will certainly try to ride it but don't bother. You will want to save your strength and energy for the downhill. NOTE: This is a steep, rocky technical trail. Full face helmet, elbow and knee/shin pads are highly recommended. While this can be ridden on an all mountain bike, downhill and free-ride bikes are better suited.

04/10/11 this was one of Jake's 3 things to do before sea otter. Check it off the list. Over the bars and a few more less dramatic crashes made this an interesting adventure. It's not a ride I'd do regularly for sure.
