08/18/09 What an ass kicker of a route! The elevation killed my lungs and legs with fatigue. Don't underestimate the climbs in this route. Rock Ridge is a great techy trail to climb but one must try to conserve energy before climbing the steep/techy Brook Bank and Sunset trails. I was spewing profanities left and right, but all was forgiven when Little Bear showed it's colors. I was in 1-track heaven from then on out! Next time, I will just go up Mount Elden Lookout Road instead of the Brook Banks.
07/30/08 fun, but hardcore ride w/ Bet F...way rockier than I remember from 1993 (though I was here last year as well)...good Flagstaff loop that incorportes some great 1 track (super pure to super hard and techy)...
