With broad panoramic views and a long narrow but superb singletrack, there are many that consider this ride one of the best in LA. The trail is fun and not too difficult with plenty of flowers in springtime. Following a moderate fireroad climb, you return the entire route via narrow and shady Golden Eagle singletrack. You may want to bring a longsleeve shirt as the middle section brushes past bramble and branches. DIRECTIONS: Exit I-5 at Hwy 138 East. After 4.3 mi. turn right on Old Ridge Rd. for 2.4 miles where you reach the remnants of the Sandberg Hotel. You need an Adventure Pass.
