Hit a little snow at the top of Lower Holy Jim. Quite a bit on the road all the way to the Peak. Better get up there and ride in it before the last snow of the year is gone in a couple of days. It is supposed to get almost to 100 next week.

Bonked on the last climb up to the peak and had to walk some. All the loose rocks make that potion of main divide tough. Glad VQ/CC has that section downhill. Kept my feet dry at all the crossing. Saw Warrior Society Gene scouting what needs to be done for tomorrow's trail maintenance. He already cut the big tree limb blocking the trail near the trail head.

Hike a bike the last mile due to snow pack. Two flat tires 5 and 1 mile from the end.

Ran into 40+ riders coming down Holly Jim from the race today. Very hot, nice seeing you Keith, Robin and Gene.

Epic STR social. Bent a chainring, broke a chain, but great times. Gnats by the millions up by the peak, we decided to head back at the last switchback due to choking hazards...literally. Fun fun...

Holy Jim is in great shape still after the 200 or riders went down it last Saturday. Upper Holy Jim is much better than last time I rode it. Lots of flowers today and perfect weather at the peak.

Cleared a path around the downed tree at the top of Holy Jim. Riders can now make it around the tree without getting off the bike. It's Vision Quest prep time.

Nice ride today. Started with Mark, Doug and John. Snow on the backside of Saddleback shouldn't add more than a few minutes next week.

Started with Troy, Doug and John. Good to see John again. Troy and I had a nice easy pace going up hj, picked it up a bit to the peak. Lots of fun, beautiful morning, snow will not be too much of a problem next week.
