The CHP closed the road to all cars, but not bikes and hikers. I passed lots of hikers on the road, but I had HJ trail all to myself.
Great Ride with Roy,Gerry, Denise and Joe. Nice crossing paths with Some of the Troupe Riders. Sorry I missed Gold Runner and the Gang.

Rode Sunday morning. Foggy with drizzle along Trabuco Road, but cleared up along Holy Jim. Trail is in good shape, just a few areas near the top where the outer edge is soft making the trail kind of narrow. Saw Talks with Foxes going up as I was going down.
Trabuco Creek Road was like a 4x4 highway today, and still pretty muddy. No problems though with everyone being very cool. HJ was really excellent with big snow patches about 1/4 mile short of the Main Divide. Talked to another rider on my way up as he was coming down, only saw maybe 5 others up high. Two of them really moving fast. North on Main Divide was pretty much snowed in and so I just came back down and did side excursion to water fall. Times are approximate due to side trip.
It was raining when I left my house at 6:30am but clear out in Trabuco Cyn. Started off w/ Roy but mechanicals forced him to turn around. Saw DeeZee out there with his group ride. Chased the STR ride up Holy Jim. I decided to ride down the steep entry from Main Divide and had quite an audience. Made it w/out falling over. Did take a spill on the way down later and cut my knee. The blood running down the leg is always a nice show for the hikers coming up. Met a rider named Ian down by the car.
Rode a demo bike. Climbing was alot harder than I expected. Downhill was fun though.
