California | 04/07/2012 Sat | | | | | Wanted to do six hours, ended up in 6:11. Felt pretty good all the way to four corners, then got tired and flatted. Thanks to Troy for riding with me up the beginning of Maple, and to Richard for coming out and keeping me company. Great to see so many friendly face. All in all a great day. Other Comments
California | 04/02/2012 Mon | | | 2:50:00 3:10:00 | | Been injured, wanted to see if I can still do the CC on Saturday. Limping a bit tonight, but I'll give it a shot on Saturday. 5:30 am sure does come early.
California | 03/22/2012 Thu | | | 4:30:00 5:05:00 | | Great day out there, rode with Dan, and Linda (making her first, and probably only, Pinos descent). I was feeling marginal, descending so-so, but happy to be on my bike, taking in views, and not working. Pinos envy, anyone.
California | 03/01/2012 Thu | | | 7:15:00 8:50:00 | | Sorry for the double post. Rode Trab. Los Pinos, SJT, Trabuco. Bits of snow on Trabuco, but none on Pinos. Pinos is in epic shape, thanks to all those who put in time for trail work. The grind back was difficult. I'm not shape for this shit, but the UQ looms. Other Comments

California | 02/23/2012 Thu | | | | | Climbing Bell was harder than I wanted it to be. I was exhausted in parts. Watched the sunset from Bell then descended Yeager in the dark, not my original intention but altogether amazing.
California | 01/25/2012 Wed | | | 3:15:00 3:35:00 | | Solo ride. Had planned on riding Pinos, which would have been perfect today, but when I reached Blue Jay I realized that I had mechanical issues. Little bummed I miss Pinos, but it's hard to complain about the SJT
California | 01/16/2012 Mon | | | 4:30:00 5:05:00 | | Rode with Josh and Dan. Pretty cold today on Main Divide, but a bit nicer at Pinos Peak. I really like the reroute on Yeager. Had to descend Yeager alone, which was not ideal.
California | 04/30/2011 Sat | | | | | Fun day. When you're 6'8" the wind effects you a bunch. I passed some people going downwind, but was like a statue in the headwind.
Thanks to all the Rwanda crew.
California | 04/27/2011 Wed | | | | | Rode with Josh. Started in N. Laguna and rode out Buck. It was plenty overgrown. Pulled off ten ticks after the ride.
California | 04/22/2011 Fri | | | | | Closest I could find. Rode PCT, FL, MC, Shredder, SS, Lynx, Coyote, Meadows, Bluebird and home. Good ride with Josh and Richard.
California | 04/20/2011 Wed | | | | | Docent-led ride today. Pretty wet and a bit mucky in places, but fun and not too hard. Haven't ridden in a couple of weeks due to a bum knee and time lost to windsurfing.
California | 04/08/2011 Fri | | | | | Rode with Dan, Josh and Chris. Were going to ride Pinos but it was too damn cold. We ran into a bunch of hail, a bit of ran and there was plenty of snow on the peak. I felt like the damn postman out there - trudging along in any conditions.

California | 04/06/2011 Wed | | | | | Great late afternoon ride. Not sure if there is a more scenic and more demanding trail in OC. The section below the Mesa is still really tough for me, but I was able to ride more than I did in the UQ. Had one crash on the first rock drop on Bell, a little sore from that.
California | 04/02/2011 Sat | | | | | Didn't have a spot, so I started behind the starters and rode unsupported. Nice day, except for the bugs, had some cramping issues and some drivetrain issues, but nothing major. 6:45. I was hoping for something closer to 6:00, but I guess I didn't train much. You really need to fire road train for this event. I was happy that the last hour was downhill and it was fun forging the streams and soaking up the water. Also good to see Tom and Troy and Eric...in the light. Other Comments
