If anyone is wondering like myself, Coal Cyn. is worse than Bedford, but the first 2-miles sure do suck.
Saw a couple Motorcycles, 2 Mtn-Bikers and a lot of gnats, and heard Oscar the grouch motivating himself, glad there were no kids around ::) | |

Had planned on doing maple springs/motorway but accidently took a turn down bedford while in the fog. Knew something was wrong when I saw houses!! That Bedford climb is tough. splits: MS gate to pavement meets dirt=22:35, to 4 corners=57:38, down mtrwy=14:36 | |

Had to take the detour through the Golf Course because of the rabid dogs. Kept trying to shift into something lower than my granny gear on the way back up. | |

It was a little cold, with a very light rain at the top of Bedford on the way up, but it soon stopped and the ride was lots of fun. Lot's of break time taking pictures, taking notes, marking waypoints, etc. Fun, fun! | |
