This is a great ride in the foothills above Claremont/LaVerne/San Dimas. Lots of fire-road climbing, some fast descents and plenty of fun singletrack interspersed throughout make for an enjoyable route. WARNING: Most of the trails that comprise this route are heavily trafficked by hikers, runners and equestrians so be wary of your speed and show proper trail courtesy to all.

GeoLadders again supports 'Uploading' directly from a Garmin device to Post activities, but using the IE browser only (Microsoft Interent Explorer). Plug in your Garmin to your computer and give it a try, just click 'Upload from GPS' button above this text. Or, if uploading a new route, click the red 'Upload Activity' button top upper right.

Also, 'Downloading' routes directly to a Garmin device to follow a route on the GPS, or to race a Virtual Partner (yourself or others) on the GPS, is again supported (IE browser only). Notice the 'Virtual Partner' tab after hitting 'Download' button above this text.
* How to 'Upload' (or POST) a GPX file to an existing GeoLadders route from your Garmin gps. For example, upload your activity to Strava then export ACTIVITY as GPX from Strava to your computer. Open the activity in Strava, click the 'Action' icon on left (wrench), select 'Export GPX' (saves to 'Downloads' on your computer). Go to, open the existing route you want to post to, select 'Post GPX to this route' (on left), then click the 'Browse' button (middle of page), find the GPX in your 'Downloads' directory. Double click, save. That's it. Your route appears on and in your dashboard.

** How to 'Export' a GeoLadders route to put on your Garmin gps.
Download the GeoLadders route to your computer as a GPX using the 'Export GPX' link, to the left. Login to Garmin Connect at 1. Select ACTIVITIES (far left menu, 5th option) 2. Upper right, click IMPORT, then click BROWSE, middle of page. 3. Double click the activity, then click IMPORT DATA button. 4. The activity opens (in Garmin Connect), then upper right, of the 5 icons, click the GEAR icon 5. then SEND TO DEVICE (Note: you can rename the acivity before sending to your device). The activity will show in 'Courses' on your Garmin device with the default name or the name you gave it. 6. You'll need to unplug your device to view courses on your device. That's it.

Great Sunday ride, perfect weather.
Great ride with MadDog. Beautiful weather.
Great Veterans Day ride. May God bless all of you veterans as you are our greatest treasure and our heros. Also may God bless all our Police, Fire Fighters, Sherrifs, and first responders. All of you and more I thank with all my heart on this Veterans Day, you're the greatest!
What a great Saturday solo ride. Beautiful area.
I usually don't drink all that much water while riding, but today I was sweating so much I was dripping wet from head to toe once I arrived at the base of Potato Mountain. Today temps were in the 90's and I finished about 90 ounces of the 100 I had in my Camelback by the time I reached Potato Mountain. Saw a Doe and 2 Fawn grazing on the descent.
