Combination ride comprised of two very popular loops: Whiting Ranch and the Luge. This route gives you a little bit of everything, tree lined single track, fire road climbs and descents, and a moderately technical drop down the ever popular luge trail. Warning: This route requires that you cross a road that cars frequently travel at high speeds. EXERCISE CAUTION!

Good ride with the Saturday Crew but on a Sunday. Whiting was open and surprisingly in good shape. Haven't been there in a while. Felt good up on STT. Saw a big group getting ready in the back parking lot at Cooks and passed them at the flag pole. Rode with Troy, Greg, Mark, Ben & Mike.

Hopefully I can get back to my old times.

Clear skys, great views and perfect weather for this ride. The Luge is fast and awesome.

Oh man! That felt good! So nice to be back in the saddle again, and feeling mostly healthy. Whiting was no less sandy, but STT was sheer bliss. Not a speck of dust, not a speck of mud, the bike is ready for the next big adventure. No more of this weekend joy riding stuff, time to get down to full time riding again. Great Ride!

Yup! Sure do prefer those vacation days when I can start whenever I want. Instead, being the working stiffs that we are, it was a twilight ride. A cold and windy twilight ride at that. Sensational Orange hues and glows, accompanied with an in your face blast of headwind, followed by an extreme side wind. I won't be sorry to see the winds blow on through. On the Luge descent, I just had no flow and could not seem to focus far enough down the trail to get that flow back. Maybe my lights were on too bright, don't know. Nonetheless, a Great Ride!
