It must have been the fact that I couldn't see how nasty the climb was. Well actually, it was riding with somebody fast to motivate me. 1:12 on the climb tonight. Beautiful view of the city lights to both the East and West. Blacker than coal at the top, and real cold. We did the singletrack sections on the way back down, which was fun with the lights. | |

One positive note, I was able to clean the entire climb on my Flux, as opposed to a rocky loose section that I had to walk last time on my hardtail. The downhill was extremely fun and real fast with my new frame. 1:25 on the climb. Too muddy for the singletrack. | |
