Nordhoff Ridge is the picturesque green wall that defines Ojai Valley. This trail allows you to climb that wall, enjoy staggering 360 degree views of the entire Ojai Valley, Lake Casitas, the Pacific Ocean, and the Channel Islands. The singletrack climb and descent will test your biking abilities but definitely feel rewarded for doing it. DIRECTIONS: From Los Angeles. take US 101 about 50 miles. Take the HWY 33 exit north to Ojai which merges with HWY 150 to Ojai Ave. and park on Signal St. The ride begins at the post office.

Great ride with Ethan, fantastic views and incredible single-track, I would recommend this ride to anyone who likes thin single-track. Prefect weather, light winds and very cool temperatures. I will post videos on YouTube in a few days.

Yes it is worth the trip. I had a hard time finding and staying on the course but I get lost in Casper's. Its more like Going up Trabuco then Holy Jim. Loose shale rock and long steep climbs. The fire road section at the top is like the wall from Holy Jim to Trabuco on Main Divide maybe harder! As far as clockwise/counterclockwise The rock gardens going up as posted are rideable the other way would be lots of hike a bike.

I had to do a lot of hike-a-bike. Great views from summit.
