Good thing, she has built a gazebo, that you have to go through, to discourage using that point of exit. | |

Poor Doug crashed on Main Divide, flatted at the Eagle Road turn-off, and sheared off his left pedal on the road between Eagle and Skyline. Somehow he managed to climb all of Skyline with only his right pedal and a small metal nub sticking out of the left crank. At least it was a nice night. Nice meeting you, Big D.D. | |
| Winger | 06/13/08 | Long night ride. Not Doug's night. He fell on Main Divide & knocked his handlebars and shifter out of alignment. Then he flatted at the Eagle junction. Finally, his egg beater pedal sheared off just before the skyline climb so he had to ride it without clipping in & on a little axle nub. Good to meet Big DD, and Matt gets the usual props for doing it on the SS. | |

I guess Mark and Mark wanted some time alone together during their out and back ride. ;-) Main Divide is in really good shape between Beek's and Eagle. I think the lack of motor vehicle traffic makes a big difference. We could tell by the ice puddles there have been some VERY cold nights up on Main Divide recently. | |
