The major water crossings on the paved part were a bit deeper that I liked.. Feet got soaked crossing the third stream on the way up.. Shoes seemed to drain ok.. maybe through the cleat opening.. The trail has become very overgrown and the trail is washed out in some spots requiring some hike-a-bike.. lots or rocks and obstacles to keep you huffin and puffin.. lots of downhill distance for the short climb.. Keep it on the downlow when passing around the Joplin juvinlle detention center as you pass through the no trespassing signs.. :-) | ||

This is a variation of the Coto Caspers short loop but you start from the bottom of coto valley and climb up to Bell View trail which goes into Caspers.. This is one of thoes rides where it seems uphill in both direction.. rolling hills and some steep short climbs.. You never really get a break. Saw a couple deer in Caspers.. 290.5 lbs | |
