|Night ride. Started at 9:00 pm. Finished it at 1:40 am. Very dark night. Some Jeeps with ultra potent lights riding along the mid divider. Last time I rode this route was 7 years ago. My moving time back then was almost one hour less. It sucks to get old. ||2036||132/160|
| ||Night ride. Temps in the 70s. Coal Canyon Trail and Leonard Trail en excellent conditions. Had 2 flats during my return. ||2200||132/166|
|Night ride. Temps in the mid 70s. The main feature of this brand new route is the descent of 2 neighboring steep single tracks that go from top of ridge to the bottom official Anaheim Biking and Hiking Trail. By the way descending those in the night was very challenging. ||1251||141/167|
| ||Night ride. Had to do this posting manual because my Garmin turned off after 3 miles. For my comeback I rode for the first time El Cajon Trail (Alternative for Bastanchury)which is the correct route for a mountain bike.
Started at 9:30pm and finished at 3:00am. Temps in the low 60s. ||2211||131/150|
|Excellent temps when I rode (Late afternoon) While in the top ridge of Anaheim Hills Trail I went exploring many of the new trail people created and I found a super fun single track of about 1/2 mile long that goes all the way to the bottom trail. So I had to create this new route. It deserves it.
Around mile 11.2 I had to deal with a temporary fence placed in the middle of the trail leaving me about 18 inches of trail to ride on, with the fence on the left side and a 6 foot cliff on the right side. What I didn't know was that the fence was electrified and when my handlebar touched it the jolt of electricity made fall down to the bottom of the cliff. ||1161||134/162|
|75% Night ride. Good temps and decent energy level from me. ||2015||142/163|
|Very nice loop. I like it a lot. ||992||136/167|
|Excellent temperature during the entire ride, 62F. North Ridge trail has been debushed, nice. Btw. I found a new single track going from hill to hill in North Ridge, which I rode making the boring travel thru NR more interesting. ||2090||138/162|
|Night ride. Started pedaling at 4:00am just after work. One fall, nothing major but I hate falling.
(New chain) ||700||129/153|
|Night ride. 80F when started, 72F when finished. Felt good and strong. Very pleasant ride. Happy to be alive and healthy. ||1043||134/161|
|Night ride. (From 8:15 pm to 11:45 pm) Good temps. Tacky dirt. The tacky surface allowed me to pedal/climb completely the longest/steepest bitch of Telegraph without walking it (2nd time in my MTB life) ||1622||135/171|
|Very warm today. ||1165||136/157|
|I couldn't ride it the day of the event because I was injured from a fall. Today finally I found the time and a good day to do it. I did not ride the asphalted Plano Trabuco having a dirt trail behind Robinson Ranch, adding at least 15 more minutes. I consider it a sin. Good temps. I turned my lights on when riding by the creek. ||1720||142/166|
|Good ride. Slow but good. Good because I didn't fall, but I suffered a lot. ||2686||132/162|
|Afternoon ride. Fresh breeze blowing at times. Good energy level today. Good ride. ||1177||144/163|
|Daylight ascent nighttime descent.
Turned my lights on at the ball. Tacky all the way with some (avoidable) mud puddles. Very cold (43F) from Sierra Peak on. Good ride. Saw nobody anywhere. ||2186||132/166|
|I struggled to do this little ride but I still could do it. I applied the "mind over matter" theory. ||1000||141/165|
|Night ride. Excellent temps. Quite a few riders tonight doing Old Camp. Good ride. ||1250||151/252|
|First time in Santiago Oaks after the November fire. Still all vegetation is charred and no green is visible. Only few trails are closed, for example Coachwhip is still closed. ||1712||136/164|
|Slow paced afternoon ride. Good temps with fresh breeze blowing at times. This is a very pleasant ride with challenging descents and steep ascents as well. Last time I rode this route was in 2012, 6 years ago. ||1123||135/161|
|Night ride. I was the only rider last night in the Loop. Good temps. To make this ride interesting I went backwards. When ridden backwards it feels like a totally new path. And, to make it even more interesting I connected to the Super Loop route somewhere. ||771||136/176|
|I'd like to comment about Scully Ridge Trail. Last time I rode Scully the trail/road was recently bulldozed. It was loose and unpleasant. Well today I found the trail covered with a short blade grass in its totality. It is beautiful and tacky. I enjoyed it.
Had to turn my lights on while in North Ridge. Excellent temps. ||1827||136/164|
|Started around 3:00 pm. Turned my lights on before 4 corners. Very cold up there: 40F. Had a flat on the rear but I did not fix it. I kept on putting air in it till the end, maybe 6 times. I haven't descended Motorway in several years. In the night the trail seems longer. ||1738||135/163|
|Hi guys. Now 2 1/2 years have passed since last time I did this very route. Not in my best prime but I still can make it. ||1107||134/161|
