Wed | | | | | Strangely quiet late afternoon ride with Ron, Jeff, Dave and Marcus. No other riders in Whiting. Its getting dusty out there. The shock on the 26 Camber blew out so temporarily down to the the 11 year old Hardrock Sport which I was about to give away this weekend. | | |

Thu | | | | | Rode the 26 for a change and enjoyed the ride. It felt much lighter (because it is) and easier to move around. Swings and roundabouts though, and I don't think a 27.5 would be much different to a 26. Guess I'll just wait for the 28.25 to be the next big thing. | | |

Fri | | | | | An eventful IRC ride and lovely evening. Good to be back on the bike again though it was making strange noises and no great surprise when the chain broke once we hit dirt. Thanks to Steve and Dave for the assistance, I figure it was 5 minutes or less before we were rolling again. Tony took us to some great new singletrack/switchbacks behind the Sinks and Raptor was closed so we did full Limestone Ridge. Gary fell into and got stuck in some bushes, Tony had a long mechanical, Kato crashed in a rut and a rider rode over him, but we all made it back in one piece. Other Comments | | |

Sat | | | 7:30:00 7:30:00 | | Well that was tough but fun I think. Didn’t prepare well this week. Started 5 minutes early (decided to head off to O’Neil for a “bathroom” break). Thought I’d just missed the Waterfall cutoff on the way back but I guess the field started a bit late so I scraped in. Lollygagged too much on the way out and another pitstop in Caspers didn’t help. The last 5 miles from O’Neil were a sufferfest, but at least I was in good company. A great event as always. Other Comments | | |

Tue | | | | | Eventful ride with Ron and Dave. Ran into a guy who had crashed descending Line Shack after running into a rider coming up. He had hurt his hip badly and a colleague was helping him back to work. Then some jackass flew by then caused a newbie to crash on the singletrack right in from of us by tailgating him and clipping his rear tire. He didn't stop.
